The Vancouver International Visual Arts Corp. (“VIVA”) is a Canadian non-profit corporation based in New Westminster, British Columbia. VIVA is dedicated to the promotion of the arts – with particular emphasis on the visual arts including photography and digital media.

At VIVA we showcase the works of member artists and those of historically important artists (or at least those artists who are important to our members). We provide the highest quality reproductions on paper and canvas using archival quality, pigment-based inks on our giclée printer.

Our modus operandi is to build “exhibits” that showcase the work of our members and of artists from the first half of the 20th century, whose work has entered the public domain. These latter, historical exhibits serve to put the work of our contemporary artists “inContext“.

We also provide shared resources for our member artists including a collection of exhibition frames, mat cutting equipment, a large format pigment-based printer, and a marketing and display website. We encourage collaboration between artists, interested members of the community and the community-based organizations that work so hard to keep the arts alive.We acknowledge the debt that we owe to artists who came before us and inspired us, and wish to share our appreciation with an engaged and intelligent audience that is at the core of any sustainable artistic community.
